“Internet governance”
The Internet gives us the opportunity to search information, to buy online or even to communicate (by e-mail for example). The Internet is now essential and universal. Everybody is an actor of the Internet. But is there somewhere someone controlling the whole network?
Questions:
1. Read the article. According to this article what problem did “Yahoo” encounter in France? Is there a country controlling the contents of the Internet and if yes, is it a good thing and why?
2. What do the letter ICANN mean, and what's its role?
